Adeptus Titanicus Battle Report: Part 1

Haven’t you heard, Mr. Beckett? The world is coming to an end.

Way back in 1988 Games Workshop 1988 went epic and released Adeptus Titanicus. Let’s play it!

Giant city-destroying robots entered the Warhammer 40,000 universe when Adeptus Titanicus hit the shelves in the late 80s. Cool plastic robots with interchangeable weapons, rigid foam buildings (unheard of!) and a clever rules system that still holds up extremely well today made this a fantastic alternative to the fiddliness of 40K, and I played it quite a lot back in the day.

Now that there are rumblings of a new edition, it’s time to drag the old box out of storage and have at it! Here’s part one of a two part battle report where Will and I go back to the future and play Adeptus Titanicus. Queue building-sized-robot-crunching-city-ruins-underfoot sound effects!
