Preparing Deadzone: Part 3

By May 4, 2014November 17th, 2021Miniatures Games, Videos

They’re not Swedish, Mac. They’re Norwegian.

The third part of the EOG’s video series covering the miniatures and buildings from Deadzone is now ready for viewing!

After that unfortunate break (curse you, chicken pox!), the next part of my Deadzone series is now online. This time we look at laying down the base colours, by the end of which you’ll end up with figures good enough to play with. Stay tuned for the next video, however, when we’ll take them to the next stage by highlighting and adding detail. The video after that we’ll move on to the buildings.

The final parts will come thick and fast now as I’ve almost finished filming them. Enjoy!

YaY! Glad to have you back! They look great!

Great video! OK, silly question time. What brand/type of lights are those? Mine are terribly cheap and are getting more and more difficult to get them to stay put. Those on your desk (at least) look sturdier.

    Looking forward to more.

They’re called Stylux ‘Scout’ desk lamps here in NZ, though they’re just China-made cheapish lamps and any articulated desk lamp would be fine. The globes are cool daylight energy saving ones, and I’ve taped a sheet of tracing paper over each to soften the light for video work. Very bodged together setup, but seems to do the trick.
