Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game

You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

This long overdue update to the Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game rules summary and reference adds rules for large and huge ships.

I’ve been enjoying the addition of big ships to the Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game for some time; they bring a fantastic sense of scale to the game, even though one’s beautiful 3’x3′ starfield map might be rendered a bit obsolete when you plonk a Tantive IV on it. But I’ve been a bit remiss in posting an update to my rules summary and reference that includes them. It’s ticked through a few versions in the background and I’m now ready to post it to the site. So grab your giant spaceship toys and have at it in space!

Oh, and there are lots more changes and improvements to the sheets, so I recommend you print yourself out a shiny new set.

I’m not bothered by the big ships but the Scum and Villainy faction is just what I’ve been waiting for. I’ve always thought that the Star Wars Miniatures game has immense story-telling and scenario potential and the addition of a faction to take it to more than a two player duel really excites me. Look out nephews, I’m buying these guys! 😎
