The recent article on Bethorm has made me think about game book design.
I’ve enjoyed the look and formatting of some recent publications such The Strange and Lamentations of the Flame Princess. But I’m sure there are quite a few out there that I don’t know about.
Any idea as to what I should look at? Looking for fresh approaches to game book design that offer clean layouts, good tables, and clear fonts.
Clear and logical flow of rules is important. accurate, clear and concise translations if the rules are from another language. A decent index is a must.
If all else fail a UH rules summary.
