I’ve been playing a ton of Quantum lately and cannot recommend it highly enough. It plays well with two, three, or four players with the same amount of excitement in each. Every game is incredibly close. Like, stand-up-and-look-over-the-board-cause-you’re-too-excited-to-sit close. You know what I’m talking about.
Absolutely lovely game.
Ah, I’ve had my eye on this one, but I was worried it wasn’t thematic enough, what with the big dice and everything. Is the theme immersive or is it that not really a big thing in this case? Always on the lookout for games that play as well as with 2 as with more though. So one for the library you reckon?
Perhaps ‘fellow members’? 🙂
Ah. Yes. Fellow members.
That’s true about the theme. The focus is more on the game play. The cards that give you abilities help a bit with that. The gameplay is so great, however, that the semi-non-existent theme can be overlooked.
Sounds like a try-before-you-buy for me then – you know how obsessed with theme we are here at the EOG! 🙂
