I know this is an old thread, but here’s video on stripping paint in case anyone needs it.
I’m new to this too and just ordered my first set of paints… Vallejo Game Color suitcase set. Hope I don’t have similar issues.
Yeah! – Glad to see someone painting their Cosmic Encounters ships 😀
Every time we play, I pick up one of my ships and mutter “these need some paint, even just a wash”…
People laugh, but the ship has definition. It is begging for some ink! 🙂
Also, “Vallejo paints” can mean a few (slightly) different things.
They do a “Game colour” line (grey tops), a “Model colour” line (white tops) and then there are all their “Washes” (black tops) – If it had a black top, it would of been a “Wash” and they are very watery (for putting over other colours to run into the creases.)
