Hey,
I just got Conan with all the addons (so, so many minis!) and noticed the bases are hollow. This seems to be a nice entry point for trying out magnets for storing minis, as I think our esteemed Head once mentioned. Any tips on which magnets to get and how to how to make an insert with a metal component?

I get mine from http://www.back2base-ix.com. I usually use the 6×1.5mm ones for standard bases. The main thing to be aware of is that you’re not using a magnet that is too strong – ie, one that will cause the figures to attract or repel each other on the battlefield!
Thanks for the tip. I hadn’t even thought about how they might act on the game board. Going for some smaller magnets and trying out the flexible steel to upgrade my inserts.
