Curious on the thoughts on those of you have watched this film? I’ve found in my personal experience folks seem to be firmly in the “Couldn’t finish/and or stand it” column or thought it genius.

I’ve never watched any other offerings by Wes Anderson, but the first playthrough I found the cinematography and offbeat characters very agreeable to my Monty Python-appreciative sense of humor.

A couple of more watchings and this hilarious, dry, dark comedy is in my top three.

Ralph Feines and Willem Dafoe seemed to be having a great time, and the kid playing Zero did a fantastic job. All the cameos were also a nice touch.

“Take your hands off my Lobby Boy!”
