Looking forward to the first play!
Really nice work on that Greathorn. I can tell you spent more time on him than your BattleLore minis (rough gaming standard), which are great, don’t get me wrong. But the extra time really shows.April 15, 2015 at 9:07 am #9154
You mean the Longhorn? I haven’t shown the Greathorn yet.April 15, 2015 at 3:19 pm #9155
Did some more basic painting over the weekend – it is a long hard slog and I’m becoming more easily distracted by figures in other factions when trying to concentrate on one lot.
Also doing an experiment with clear drying glue for the water effect on some of the bases. currently waiting on the white to dissipate in a couple of GW craters as ponds before tackling the Hadross bases.April 16, 2015 at 3:07 am #9156
I thought you were referring to that Rathor Battle Shaman on the front page. He looks really nice.April 19, 2015 at 3:24 pm #9186
Still working on WoK, when will it end !
The Rathor has had a layer of glue over the base in an attempt to simulate water. I’ve added a splash of Citadel Temple Guard Blue around the hooves to try for the look of deep pools and intend to add some more glue. I’ve also hotwatered his outstretched arm to raise it a bit.
The Greathorn has had his shield arm bent a little closer to his body and the sword point chopped off.April 20, 2015 at 5:17 pm #9191
Longhorn not a Greathorn (I still have to get one of those)April 22, 2015 at 3:57 pm #9208
Testing clear glue as water around the feet of the Rathor.
Last night rec’d shipping advice for my missing specialist cards.
Peter have you heard any more about your missing starter box ?April 22, 2015 at 4:47 pm #9209
Looking great razide – we have very different painting styles but I really like your more ‘realistic’, and somewhat more savage, look.
Yep, a couple of days ago I received notice my missing bits were on the way. Fingers crossed!
My Nasier faction is done, my terrain is done, and I’ll be filming a battle report over the weekend.April 23, 2015 at 5:12 pm #9212
Sorry about the multiple postings. I was having problems with the photos displaying.
Dusty and mucky is where they are going. Hadross will be a real challenge.
Hope your missing ones arrive shortly.
Congratulations on your completed Nasier. I can hardly wait to see how they fare against Will’s Goritsi.April 30, 2015 at 8:37 am #9240
Can’t wait for the battle report. Figures looking great guys!April 30, 2015 at 4:34 pm #9244
No painting progress this week but I did buy a Hordes Gnarlthorn Satyr to convert to a GreatHorn and ordered a Blood Engine & an Oresund Cavalier.April 30, 2015 at 5:12 pm #9245
