Younger people! Pah! They should go out and get some culture… watch some B movies, watch some B TV series.

And yes, pop into the comments section any time some character from a show older than last year and the kids are asking who it is. Ash, Xena and Merlin (from Excalibur movie) to mention but three.

And yes… I am old, but you’re never to old to game 🙂

You want something for your money? You sound like Qatar talking to Sepp Blatter and Fifa.

Game looks improved in Z:BP and I like those character boards. Much better than Zombicide. And Thrud the Barbarian plus Xena….

Bought myself a Warmachine army and some mercenary allies.

Had to get a pin drill to attach some limbs.

    Mixture of metal and plastic.

Lots of assembly going on. Tedious. Painful. Irritating. Challenging. Just some of the words that come to mind.

Some of the other words are, as Spock would say, “Colourful metaphors”.

Its not just board games, RPG systems are rising from the dead. In recent years I have picked up James Bond and Gangbusters from ebay, amongst others.

One of my favourite RPG systems is the unpopular Alternity. The Dark Matter setting book was excellent and used in a memorable campaign of X-Files like investigation and conspiracy.

Its UK Games Expo this weekend and I always search the bargain bins for lost gems of RPG and board gaming goodness. Picked up War of the Ring there a few years back as second hand.

    Beware the Zom-game-pocalypse…

Yep. Only way to avoid temptation is stay away from kickstarter.

We all llke a good miniature and I often find myself avoiding ones with just cardboard myself (Posthuman is only kickstarter game I backed with wooden tokens instead of miniatures), but unless the game is awesome (or can easily adapt them to another (war)game or purpose(RPG) then you’re going to end up with wasted shelf space and money.

Shame more people can’t be inspired by the gameplay instead of the shiny plastic.

Have you considered building a house out of foam board?

Seems to me that most of your gaming stuff is in storage. You should fix that problem!

But if you’re struggling for space… ship it to me in England and I’ll find a good home for it 🙂

After extensive negotiations with my prospective wargaming buddy we have decided on Warmachine/Hordes.

Undecided on whether to buy one of the ‘All in one army boxes’ each to give us one large(ish) faction to play with or…

Buy one Hordes two player starter and one Warmachine two player starter so we can split them.

    Any advice?

So he is. And there was me thinking he was just a Donald Duck fan.

    Gaming is educational.

Yeah! No way was gonna get 60K in a matter of hours.

Love that innkeeper. Lots of use on RPG table I think. Some miniatures are weird. Monk with giant lollipop. Jester. Duck face doctor.

Hope game is fun. Find out later this year.

Odd. First time in few months there’s nothing I’m interested in on KS.

Well, not true, just some have shipping costs higher than game price!

Getting a bit frantic at B-sieged. Less than 80 mins to go and needs 35K for final stretch goal. Nearly $500 per minute required.

Not sure about the expansion for B-sieged. Most of the exclusives come with the base game, even the dragon.

Is the expansion worth $60 (assuming buying the extra boards too)?
