Watched them all multiple times. I’ve been stalking, I mean, following you since Headless Hollow days!

I can see what you mean, though. I’m just after something that isn’t AoS and is just a bit different. Still think this will scratch the fantasy itch, I’ll report back once I’ve played a few games!

Don’t say that!! I haven’t played it yet, not until all the relevant troops are painted.

‘So, why get so much stuff for a game you haven’t played yet?’

‘Well, its simple really. HOLY MOLEY, IS THAT ELVIS???’

Miniature Market are at it again, several lines added to clearance.

I don’t work for them. Honest.

    Picked up some more Goritsi.

    Hi everyone,

Miniature Market have some big discounts on Wrath of Kings at the moment.

Just picked up the Battle of Ravenwood (Marion..?) and the Goritsi and Nasier Starter sets for $49 all in including shipping!

Because I need another game to paint and play…

    Cheers,

    Dan.

I can’t believe the prices this stuff goes for away from the UK – its not right.

Still enjoying the game, and I picked up a set of extra boards off the internets for the new WD scenarios too. Have yet to give it a run through.

Maybe we need a ‘Betrayal at Calth – is it crap” video to join the Dreadfleet one! So glad i kept all my Man O War stuff – now thats a classic.

UH: Yeah, that is excessively pricy for what is in effect a ‘beer and pretzels’ game. Still, like you say, who knows where this will end? A decent tabletop game?? Never! Also, wish I’d thought of that Bladerunner riff myself, gawd darn it.

8thP: Yeah, its a chip, but one that has been nurtured and fed by shady games and crazy pricing. And excessive negativity on my part. Maybe. I too submitted something to GW in 1990! It was an add-on to Dark Future if I remember rightly. Never heard back though…

    Thanks for the update Fred.

I had an email today telling me that the shipping should be completed by mid-November, so I’ll just keep on waiting for that confirmation e-mail!

Totally agree with you on those points, UH. Attention to detail is what separates the short term successes and long term business growth.

Used white from the start of my painting life (20+ years). Like UH, I have dabbled with black, but only for specific projects or when I want a certain finish.

I find it much easier to paint, blend and wash over white, and final colours are much more what I intended. With black, I found that it was much harder to achieve the finish I was going for.

    So, white for me!

Thanks BH. At least I know they are shipping them out!

Once I’ve got it, I’ll stick a review together with some pics and post it here in a new thread.

Oh, and thanks to Universal Head for all the content, especially the gaming aids. They are very much appreciated, especially the Man O War ones!

    Rant away!

Glad I’m not the only one with the Kickstarter Blues. I haven’t backed anything, or even looked, since the Mars Attacks one, I think I am done with crowd funding, to be honest.

Anyway, pics and review of Mars Attacks will follow. Assuming I ever get it…

    Apologies for thread high jack!
