Like the backround of Warmahordes and the factions are nearly all cool. I was ready to get into it with the 3rd Ed. My hope was that they get rid of the repeating poses with plastic. They did not 🙁 I am one of those that ultimately did not go for it because of repeating sculpts for quite a high price. Too many alternatives that give you unique poses with all the minis for a better price…so money went elsewhere. There is hope for the next Edition 🙂

Bought Fallout: Wasteland Warfare from Mödipheus and played it co-op with a friend. Interesting AI mechanic…nice models…and great theme. We had a lot of fun and will play it again soon 🙂

New factions announced: Clone Troopers and Federation Droids. With the “old” factions getting some new vehicles soon Legion as grown considerably in just one year. Future looks bright!

So…looks like CMON is shifting distribution to Asmodee…and they do not want to carry DA and WoK. So it looks like they are dead for now. Hope that some other company will pick up those great IP´s

Waste Knights…the game you posted and backed yourself?!? 🙂

It´s an asymmetrical game about taking down the followers of the downed moon that had a dragon trapped inside. That incident altered the world radically and the resulting surviving factions are crazy cool…you have to look it up on KS…it looks like a great game.

So…canceled Brimstone..still in with Waste Knights…maybe even Veteran of the Waste?

No I did not have to wait…friend of mine had to 🙂

Could you be more specific with the “not as good as promised” part of the first KS as that might influence my decision to back the new one – thanks in advance!

Did not back any previous KS from FF…but I remember that they said that the first KS had them fund the release plan for 4-5 years in that campaign. So they sure where nowhere prepared for the success. Hope they have learned their lesson and the oriental themed one does better. The games FF makes are special…and although they all have great theme/flavor the rules are not that good. Back in the days I played those there where not that many alternatives to weird/sci-fi/horror big box games like there are now 🙂

Saw this at Essen last year and it sounded fun…so I am also in atm. But I have also an early bird with the new Brimstone KS…just an insane amount for the money…but that is more and more becoming a reason not to back. I have over a week to decide if I stay or not…and atm I lean towards Waste Knights. Although they started to release additional stuff for extra money…arghhh!

Played “Gloom of Kilforth”…one of my KS games…for the first time. Backed it mostly for the stunning Artworks but the game itself is quite good. Not sure how much replayability it has…but despite it not having the best of rulebooks we had fun with it.
