I’ve been very spoilt by the wonderful people at Awaken Realms lately, as both S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The Board Game and Nemesis: Retaliation arrived at the EOG studio within days of each other. As lucky as I am, this also means lots of work! The unboxings only take an afternoon, but the rules summary & reference sheets take days of solid work, and then there’s getting that summary into Tabletop Codex, painting, reviews (and maybe even playthroughs), and all the planning, filming, and editing they entail. But it’s happy work; I love playing around with immersive, imaginative games like these. I’ve already played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The Board Game a couple of times and I have lots of thoughts to share in an upcoming review, but for now, let’s check out what you get in the box!
