Wrath of Ashardalon

A cave mouth leads to a maze of tunnels and chambers, and deep within this monster-infested labyrinth lurks the most terrifying creature of all: a red dragon!

The second Wizards of the Coast dungeoncrawler boardgame after the Castle Ravenloft doesn’t change the successful formula too much, only now we’re in familiar dungeon (and dragon) territory, and some rules for doors and chambers and a basic ‘campaign system’ have been added.

It does what it sets out to do well however, and is packed with plastic figures, dungeon tiles and lots of Dungeons & Dragons-brand fun.

Thank you for this. Any plans for a foam core storage solution for WoA?

    • Universal Head says:

I’m afraid not—I’ve got Ravenloft but I’m not really keen for more of the same, so there are no immediate plans to buy this.

  • Darren says:

Understandable. I am currently building one for Descent using your plans. I may take a stab at WoA after I finish that. Thanks again for all your work on this site.

Hiya Peter, I know the D&D Adventure Games series aren’t very high on your Love List, but do you think there might be a chance you could be persuaded to do a summary for The Legend of Drizzt? Wizards have very nicely uploaded 3(!) different versions of the rules, some containing embedded video…

Here’s the link for the ‘just the rules version’ if I can twist your arm…;-) I’ll even fling another donation at you for your trouble!

As always, very grateful for your work on the sheets. You make the sometimes unintelligible playable! 🙂

  • Bruce Moffatt says:

Bless your cotton socks! You are a gentleman and a scholar! 🙂

  • Chris Morse says:

    Thank you for this 🙂
