A silver stake? A crucifix? What, did you think we haven’t tried everything before?
Let’s brave grim and gothic monster-haunted mountains to unbox Folklore: the Affliction by Greenbrier Games.
As soon as I got wind of Folklore: the Affliction, I knew it was a game I had to play. A bit of roleplaying, a bit of miniature combat, but most of all, a grim and perilous fantasy gothic Eastern European setting with werewolves and vampires and undead—that’s just the kind of thing I like!
Greenbrier Games were kind enough to send me a Mystic pledge (not only have I worked with them before, on Zpocalypse, but my upcoming rules summary was a bonus item during the Kickstarter campaign), so here I am unboxing the box of goodies.
I got it to the table for the first time last night and if you’re a fan of old school D&D adventuring (like me), you’re going to enjoy this game. Look out for more Folklore: the Affliction stuff soon, including, of course, the rules summary!
