They’re coming out of the goddamn walls!!
I finally get to play a game of Nemesis with Will—gothic scifi horror ensues!
You’ve watched the unboxing, you’ve downloaded and printed out the rules summary and reference sheets, and you’ve painted the miniatures with the aid of my painting tutorial—now it’s time to see the game in action! My old gaming buddy Will hasn’t visited the land of the long white cloud for a while now, so it’s good to be sitting across a table from him with a spectacular game of Nemesis by Awaken Realms on said table.
This is just the kind of game I enjoy—heavy theme, great visuals, fun mechanics and an emergent story with memorable and hilarious moments. Nemesis is probably my favourite game of last year, and with the extra alien expansions I’ll have enough here to enjoy for many games to come. Check out what I mean by watching this battle report, and let the alien carnage (and when I say alien carnage, I mean carnage perpetrated by aliens) … begin!
