I’ve certainly been getting into tabletop miniatures naval games at the moment; after unboxing, painting and playing Dystopian Wars, I got my hands on Armada by Mantic Games. While slightly confusingly named—Fantasy Flight do have a starship game called Armada after all—this successor to Games Workshop’s classic Man O’War features some lovely resin ships and just might be the new classic fantasy naval wargame we’ve all been waiting for. So let’s check out what comes in the box!
