The expansion madness for Eldritch Horror begins with a little box called Forsaken Lore which kinda feels like a bunch of cards Fantasy Flight Games took out of the original box so they could sell them later as a separate expansion.
Anyway, world-weary cynicism about the harsh economic realities of boardgame production aside, this gives players a lot more of everything that’s in the core set, plus a new Ancient One: Yig, The Father of Serpents. Rules-wise there are a few tweaks and clarifications and a detailed treatment of the Lost in Time and Space Condition, all of which have been incorporated into this second version of my rules summary and reference.
