Thebes

Players are archaeologists who must travel around Europe, northern Africa, and the Middle East to acquire knowledge about five ancient civilizations.

A nicely designed archaeology game set at the start of the 20th century; easy fun in the ‘play with friends who aren’t really gamers when you have them over for dinner’ category. Features some very nice cloth bags from which you draw tokens to represent working at a dig site, and an attractive ‘time wheel’ for each player.

Really wonderful, like all of your player aids.

I wanted to mention only that the rules summary cannot be read very easily when I print them because the blue background is too dark. Even if I print as A3, the text does not read well at the top of the page.

    Thanks for all these aids!

Sorry about that – it prints and reads fine on my printer – machines can vary greatly. I may make an alternate version with a plain background though, watch this space.
