I unbox the starter set for miniatures tabletop game Moonstone—and tell you a bit about the interesting game mechanics!
Occasionally I’m contacted by games publishers I’ve not heard of before who offer to send me their games to check out. Which is always nice, but I don’t always have the time to fit them in to my schedule. I was very intrigued however by Moonstone by Goblin King Games. It’s a skirmish-level game, so the number of miniatures are manageable, and I loved the fact that the theme was less ‘swords-and-sorcery’ and more ‘Jim Henson’. This is a game that’s not afraid to call a character Baron von Fancyhat!
