Warhammer: Epic 40,000 – Peter and Will Play the 1997 Epic Classic!

I love the smell of polyurethane in the morning.

Peter and Will finally play Warhammer: Epic 40,000 again for the first time in twenty years!

Back before we entered the 21st century – wow, does that sound weird – there was a short-lived epic scale version of Warhammer 40,000 called Epic 40,000. It was fast, fun, easy to play, and according to designers Jervis Johnson and Andy Chambers, the best thing they ever did – but it was withdrawn after six months!

But a lot of people still love this particular system, including myself, and for some time now I’ve been gathering together miniatures to add to the collection I’d saved from way back when. And finally, after a couple of decades, here I am playing a game of it with my friend Will again. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
